We have a number of ministries that run through-out the week for the children and families in our community with the view to fulfil our vision.

Beachlands Toy Library

The Toy Library was established in 2006 by Beachlands Baptist Church. The Library is a community organisation staffed by a Librarian and a volunteer team. We depend on community funding grants, member subscriptions and local fund-raising to keep the Library open. We have a large selection of toys, play equipment and puzzles for children aged 0 – 6 years available for loan to Toy Library members. For more information see our Facebook page or contact Maria Currell 022 0610 597

The Toy Library is open Monday evening from 6pm – 7.30pm & Thursday mornings from 10am – 12pm

Mainly Music

Mainly Music is a fun music group for parents or primary care givers to enjoy together with their preschoolers which is run throughout the county. Children are introduced to music, creativity and more, plus families given a chance to think about the God-part of life. Come join in singing and fun held in the Beachlands Baptist Church auditorium on Thursday mornings. For more information contact the church office: (09) 536-6350

The sessions run at 9.30am & 10.45am with a yummy morning tea served in between, a chance for the children to play and the adults to chat and make new friends. The cost is $3.00 per family.

Coffee & Kids

Coffee & Kids is a cafe style drop-in on Tuesday morning at the church during the school term. Drop-in from 9.30-11am for a chit chat over a cuppa and delicious baking while the children play! Everyone is welcome – not just kids! Gold coin donation.

Mid-week Service

Wednesday 2-3pm held at the church. Can’t get along to church on Sunday for once reason or another? Pop into our mid-week service which is focused around communion.

iMPACT

Impact is the Beachlands Baptist children’s program which  is held upstairs during the Sunday morning service. There are three age groups: 4-6 yrs, 7-10 yrs & 11-12 years. The Toddlers and Preschoolers have their own room upstairs.   The program includes teaching and fun activities. On the last Sunday of each term the children run an all-age Family Service sharing some of the content from their term in Kid’s Church.

Beach Uth

Beach Uth is a vibrant youth community which exists for teens in year 9-13 at High School level. Beach Uth is run by a team of dedicated team who care about the youth of the Pohutukawa Coast. Beach Uth is run out of Beachlands Baptist Church and exists to provide community and support for young people from any walk of life. Keep up with what’s happening with our term planners available at the church office and through our Facebook page.
Wednesdays GATHERINGS: 6.30-8.30pm. A chance to eat food, hang out and talk about real life stuff. Dinner included.
Friday FUN STUFF: Various times and locations.
